With the motto of standing united to protect the environment, the students of Ahalia Public School took part in a variety of activities to observe World Environment Day meaningfully. A group of Ahalians planted saplings and presented a dance drama in Fort Maidan, Palakkad, joining hands with Walkers’ Club, to promote awareness among the public on the duty of the present generation in handing over a green and clean environment to the future ones. Saplings were planted in the grounds of our institution too. A special assembly and an Awareness program were conducted in this regard to make the students think about their responsibility to the environment. Moreover, the young Ahalians were provided with seeds to plant and nurture in their homes. On the whole, the day was spent effectively towards making positive contributions to nurture the nature.
