Ahalia Public School observed World Environment Day 2026 at Palakkad Fort on 5 June with a public awareness programme. The District Collector inaugurated the event and flagged off an awareness rally from Civil Station to Rakthasakshi Mandapam Gate. Students carried placards promoting waste management and biodiversity conservation. The cultural segment featured a flash mob, street play, and dance performance by Ahalia students. Mr. Kassim, President of Fort Walkers Club, led an eco-awareness session. Saplings were distributed to the Palakkad Police Team and a plant pot was presented to Mr. Kassim. The programme concluded with gratitude from dignitaries, teachers, and organizers, inspiring community action for a greener future.
