On July 6, 2026, Green Ahalia hosted Haritholsavam 2026 at the ADH Auditorium to celebrate the Green Ahalia Dasabdam with a vibrant display of environmental commitment. Coordinated by Vijisha K R, Biodiversity Club Coordinator, the event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof. S. K. Barik, Dean of Life Sciences at NEHU and former Director of NBRI Lucknow, who delivered an inspiring lecture on biodiversity conservation. Major highlights included the release of key publications like Varnabham and Birds and Butterflies of Ahalia Campus, alongside prize distributions, photo exhibitions, and creative student performances. Ahalia Public School students captivated the audience with a powerful street play on eco-friendly living. A standout moment was the symbolic “Hug the Palm Tree” campaign, organized with the OISCA Team, encouraging youth to safeguard native species. By blending learning with creative action, Haritholsavam 2026 successfully empowered students to become proactive stewards of a greener, sustainable future.
