On June 16, 2023, an Inter-house Debate Competition took place at our school. The competition centred around the topic “Plastic and the Environment.” Representatives from each of the four houses showcased their debating skills and presented arguments regarding the pros and cons of plastic and its impact on the environment. The first round featured Vayu house against Jal house and Prithvi house against Agni house, determined through a lottery system. The finalists were Jal house and Prithvi house, both of which delivered stellar performances. After a closely contested battle, Jal house emerged as the victor. The competition was expertly mediated by    Ms. Navitha and Ms. Anusri, faculty members from the English Department, who ensured a fair and engaging debate for all participants.
