Ahalia Public School began the new academic year with vibrant celebrations of Praveshanotsavam 2026 on Monday, 1 June 2026. The campus turned festive with cartoon characters Duck, Dora & Mickey Mouse welcoming students, plus a colourful balloon arch and Singari Mellam beats.

Teachers guided students to decorated classrooms while new admissions and parents were assisted at a help desk. Class teachers introduced students and created a warm atmosphere.

The formal programme began with students of Class XII compering and presenting “The Story of a Pencil” with life lessons. Principal Mrs. Smitha P. Krishnan inspired students to begin the year with discipline and curiosity.

Classes VI-VII enjoyed a magic show, while Classes VIII-XII joined a lively campus procession with Singari Mellam and paper blowers.

Classrooms sessions followed with greeting cards, chocolates, orientation on rules, academics & co-curricular activities. The day ended with the National Anthem at 12:45 p.m., leaving students motivated and full of excitement for the year ahead.
