Grandparents Day Celebration

Grandparents Day was conducted with great enthusiasm and warmth to honour and appreciate the invaluable role of grandparents in the lives of students. The programme aimed to strengthen the bond between generations and to express gratitude for the love, wisdom, and guidance of grandparents. Students from Pre KG to Grade 2 actively participated in the celebration.

The celebration began with a prayer, seeking blessings for the grandparents and the school community. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ajitha madam, who extended heartfelt greetings to all the grandparents present.

The Presidential Address was delivered by the Principal, Ms. Smitha P. Krishnan, who highlighted the importance of grandparents as the pillars of family values, culture, and tradition. She expressed sincere appreciation for their constant support and influence in shaping the students’ lives.

The programme featured a series of cultural performances that beautifully reflected love, respect, and gratitude towards grandparents. These performances were well received and brought joy and smiles to the audience.

An interactive session was also organised, allowing grandparents to share their experiences, memories, and words of wisdom with the students. Their heartfelt expressions added a meaningful and emotional touch to the celebration.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ishwarya madam , who expressed gratitude to the management, Principal, teachers, students, and all the grandparents for making the celebration memorable and successful.
