Ahalia Public School, Palakkad came alive on 7 August 2026 as students celebrated Kaladarpan 26 – School Kalotsav with energy and pride.
Inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Prabhakaran, MLA, Malampuzha Constituency, the day opened with inspiring words on nurturing creativity and preserving Kerala’s cultural heritage.
Students from all classes and houses competed in individual and group performances, showcasing music, dance and drama with confidence and discipline. Judges evaluated each act while teachers and volunteers ensured smooth stage management.
The Kalotsav aimed to build stage presence, teamwork, and self-expression. Beyond competition, it gave students a platform to overcome stage fear, appreciate art forms, and strengthen their connection to tradition.
Teachers and participants called it a memorable learning experience. The school committee recommended regular cultural training and opportunities at inter-school levels to support young talent.
