Mock Parliament -2026 A step Towards Democratic Learning & Leadership

The Mock Parliament programme was conducted on 23rd February 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Amphitheatre.

Mock Parliament is a simulated parliamentary session where students perform the roles of Members of Parliament, Speaker, Prime Minister, Opposition leaders, and other officials. It provides students with a practical understanding of how a democratic system functions. This activity helps in strengthening democratic values, enhancing communication skills, and preparing students to become responsible and informed citizens.The event was graced by our esteemed dignitaries: Principal Ms. Smitha Krishnan, Academic Director Ms. Nirmala Haridasan, Administrative Officer Mr. Shiju Balan, Management Trustee Ms. Sriya Gopal, along with the Heads of Departments and Section Heads.Nearly 50 students from Classes VII, VIII, IX, and XI participated in the programme with great enthusiasm and dedication.The students performed their roles as ministers and parliamentary members excellently. They displayed remarkable confidence, clarity in speech, and deep involvement in their respective roles, making the session realistic and engaging.

The Mock Parliament programme was a grand success, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present and inspiring our young leaders to actively participate in democratic processes in the future.
