National Science Day 2026

National Science Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and scientific spirit at Ahalia Public School on 27th February 2026.

The programme began with the morning assembly, where students delivered a speech highlighting the importance of National Science Day and the need to develop scientific temper among students. As part of the assembly, students of Classes 8 and 9 introduced five eminent national scientists, appreciating their valuable contributions to the field of science and nation-building.

In the afternoon session at 2:30 PM, a Scientific Talk was organized in the AV Room. Four students from Classes 9 and 11 participated and presented on scientific topics with excellent preparation and confidence.

Jerome – Class XI CS

Sreehari – Class XI CS

Devika E. Varier – Class XI Humanities

The session was highly engaging and provided ample opportunity for students to research, prepare, and present their topics in an attractive and informative manner. All participants delivered their talks in an outstanding way, demonstrating clarity of concepts and effective communication skills.

After the Scientific Talk session, our respected Principal addressed the gathering. The Principal highlighted that such scientific platforms provide valuable opportunities for students to explore, research, and confidently present their ideas. The address emphasized the importance of active participation in academic programmes to enhance knowledge, creativity, and communication skills. The Principal also encouraged more students to participate in similar events in the future and make the best use of such opportunities.

At the end of the session, Devi Ma’am, respected Senior Faculty of the Science Department, provided constructive feedback to the students of Ahalia Public School. She appreciated their efforts and motivated them to continue developing their scientific curiosity and presentation skills.

Overall, the National Science Day celebration was meaningful and inspiring, encouraging students to think scientifically and participate more actively in academic activities.
