Samanvayam – NIT Calicut (Feb 13–15, 2026)
Our students had the valuable opportunity to participate in the SPIC MACAY Kerala State Convention 2026, held at National Institute of Technology Calicut from February 13 to 15, 2026.
The convention followed a Gurukula-style system with early morning yoga, meditation, sattvic food, and disciplined routines, creating a spiritually enriching learning atmosphere.
The students attended an intensive in Koodiyattam under the guidance of Guru Margi Madhu Chakyar. They learned basic techniques, mudras, facial expressions, and gained insight into the cultural and spiritual depth of this ancient Sanskrit theatre tradition.
The participants also benefited from yoga sessions, Carnatic music classes, and inspiring performances by eminent artists including A. Kanyakumari ma’am , Shri.Abhishek Raghuram, and Shri. Shahid Parvez Khan.
A special interactive session with actor Rajit Kapur was also conducted, which was highly motivating for the students.
On the final day, the students presented a short Koodiyattam demonstration showcasing what they had learned.
Overall, the convention was a deeply enriching experience that fostered discipline, cultural awareness, and artistic growth among the participants.
